This is quite a general post, discussing Belek all inclusives – these are the top of the range, cream of the crop all inclusive hotels. For me, some of the Belek hotels beat Mexico, Sandals and the Caribbean in terms of luxury, service and what you get for your money.
The top two are Maxx Royal and Regnum Carya. I have been to both and would return in a heartbeat. Other top hotels I have visited are Voyage Belek and Kaya Palazzo.
The Maxx has the best service I have ever experienced in any hotel. I dropped a napkin in the buffet and 4 waiters came running up to me. My daughter was doing some homework on one of their Bali beds. She had left her pencil crayons in the room and it was a fair walk. The Maxx Assistant that was walking past heard our conversation. She went to get an entire array of pencils, all monogrammed with Maxx. My daughter was given them as a gift, and it was just wonderful. What is a Maxx Assistant? You are allocated your very own Whats App group where you can talk to the assistants at any time of the day. You can ask them anything. We had a family terrace room with a jacuzzi bath on the balcony. The assistant had it filled for us ready for our return to the room. They also provided a bottle of fizz! (Without asking!) You are offered a drink at least every twenty minutes, wherever you are.
In terms of food, there are 5 a la carte restaurants for lunch and dinner. The best thing about these is that no reservations are required. So you can just have a three course meal in your own time, without rushing. The food is top notch. I could not fault it. Try the Italian for perfect tiramisu, or the Turkish at lunch time for the best doner kebab.
The luxury of the hotel is just amazing. Not only the rooms, but the lobby, the many bars – everything. The patisserie has the best croissants in the morning and the most delicious millefeuille too. They have a fruit bar and much much more.
Regnum is one of the most beautiful places ever. The adult pool is a sight to behold. Roller skating waitresses bring you your drinks, they even have special flags for you to raise to get them to come to you. Often though, you don’t need that as they are always coming round with drinks, crisps and fruit.
Regnum has a wave pool which is a fantastic addition to a hotel, and also a crazy river which you can kayak down. These two things alone put them above many hotels. Regnums water park is great too – so is the waterpark at the Maxx.
Food is again top notch with lots of a la cartes. They often threaten to charge a fee for these a la cartes but that hasn’t actually happened yet. They are free at the Maxx, apart from the steakhouse, so I imagine Regnum will offer the same proposition as their main competitior.
Rooms I think are slightly better here, luxurious and beautiful. The mini bar is great – wine, beer and soft drinks, with Haribo, Pringles and Twix for late night nibbles. Both hotels offer a turn down service.
I hope this has helped you decide that Belek all inclusives really are the way to go! Our recent Greece trip just didn’t compare.
